Bijay Hellen (Lama), 27, born in Manahari-5, Makawanpur, is emerging as one of Nepal’s most inspiring grassroots performers. A passionate dancer, choreographer, and youth mentor, Bijay is leading a creative movement through rhythm, performance, and pure dedication.

Bijay’s dance journey started in the local streets and community events of Manahari. With no access to formal training early on, he taught himself through practice, determination, and heart. His raw talent and bold style quickly captured local attention, evolving into a career that now spans performance, teaching, and community mentorship.
“I was born in Manahari-5, and I’ve always carried that identity with pride,” says Bijay.
A Mentor in Motion
Bijay currently teaches dance to children and teenagers in Hetauda and surrounding areas. His classes are more than just physical training, they build confidence, discipline, and creative thinking. He’s especially known for empowering rural youth, offering them not only moves but motivation.
